This issue applies to iPhone / iPod touch devices running OS 3.0 and using a WiFi connection. If the connection to the NotifyLink ActiveSync Server returns a 500 error, the email (and possilby PIM) data is deleted from the device.

This is not an issue on devices runnning iPhone OS 3.1.1.
